Check the Drain Cap: Debris or small items can get stuck inside the drain cap, blocking water flow. Make sure it’s clear of any blockages.
Inspect the Drain Motor: If the drain motor appears clear but the washer is still not draining or spinning, the motor itself might have failed and may need replacement.
Check for Broken Wires: A broken or loose wire in the system could prevent proper draining or spinning. Look for any visible damage to the wiring.
Mainboard Issue: A malfunctioning main control board can send incorrect signals, preventing the washer from completing the drain or spin cycles.
Door Latch Failure: If the door latch isn’t functioning properly, the washer may not enter the drain or spin cycle, as it might think the door is still open.
These are the possible reasons your washer might not be draining or spinning. If you’re unable to identify the issue or if it’s beyond your knowledge, contact us to book an expert assessment. Our team can diagnose and repair the problem quickly.

1. Clean and Maintain Regularly:
For refrigerators, dishwashers, and washing machines, clean filters, condenser coils, and vents regularly to ensure optimal performance.
Clean air filters in dryers, rangehoods, and microwaves to prevent buildup of dust and dirt, which can strain the appliance.
2. Check Power Sources:
Ensure your appliances are connected to a stable power source and check circuit breakers when they stop working. A consistent power supply is essential for longevity.
3. Avoid Overloading:
Don’t overload washers, dryers, or dishwashers. Overloading can lead to strain on the motor and other parts, reducing their efficiency and lifespan.
4. Use Proper Settings and Cycles:
Use appropriate settings for your appliances. For instance, choose energy-efficient modes and avoid using high heat when unnecessary. This helps prevent excessive wear and tear.
5. Inspect and Repair Small Issues Promptly:
Address minor problems like unusual noises, leaks, or malfunctions quickly before they lead to bigger issues. Early repairs can save the appliance from further damage.
6. Protect from External Damage:
For appliances like refrigerators and dryers, ensure there’s enough space for proper ventilation. For ovens and rangehoods, regularly clean grease buildup to prevent fire hazards.
7. Follow Manufacturer’s Maintenance Recommendations:
Refer to the owner’s manual for specific cleaning and care guidelines for each appliance. Manufacturers provide the best advice for extending the life of their products.
By maintaining your appliances and staying on top of small repairs, you can help them work efficiently and last longer, saving you money on replacements.
Terms and Conditions for Appliance Care
These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of installation, service calls, labor, warranties, cancellation fees, liabilities, and related services by Appliance Care. By engaging in services with Appliance Care (the “Customer”), you agree to the following terms:
1. Installation Services
Appliance Care offers installation services for appliances as outlined in the service agreement.
The installation fee will be agreed upon prior to the commencement of services. Additional fees may apply for specific or complex installations outside the scope of standard installation services.
It is the Customer’s responsibility to ensure that the installation site is prepared and that access to the installation area is clear and free of obstruction.
2. Service Call Fee
A non-refundable service call fee will be charged for all requests for repairs, troubleshooting, or service visits. This fee covers travel, assessment, and diagnostic costs.
If the Customer chooses not to proceed with the repair, the service call fee remains due and will not be refunded.
If the Customer proceeds with the repair, the service call fee will be credited toward the labor charges. The Customer will only pay the remaining balance.
After diagnosis, the technician will provide an estimate including labor and parts before proceeding.
3. Labor Fees (Flat Rate)
Labor fees are based on a flat-rate price, determined by the type of repair and provided as a repair quote.
Appliance Care charges a fixed price for labor (not hourly) to ensure transparency.
The quoted labor cost will not change once approved unless the scope of work changes or additional services are requested.
4. Warranties
Parts Warranty: 90-day warranty on parts replaced or installed. Covers defects in material or workmanship. Faulty parts will be replaced at no additional cost within this period.
Labor Warranty: 30-day warranty on labor. If the work is found faulty within 30 days, Appliance Care will re-perform the labor at no additional charge (if related to the original service).
5. Cancellation Policy
Customers must provide at least 12 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule without penalty.
Cancellations with less than 12 hours’ notice or missed appointments will incur a $50 cancellation fee.
Cancelling after parts are ordered or work has started may result in additional charges.
6. Limitation of Liability
Maximum Liability: Appliance Care’s liability will not exceed the total amount paid by the Customer for the service.
Exclusion of Damages: Neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Exclusive Warranty: The stated warranties replace all other warranties, express or implied.
7. Payment Terms
Payment is due immediately upon completion of services unless agreed otherwise.
Accepted payment methods include cash, credit card, or other agreed methods.
Late payments may incur additional charges such as interest or collection fees.
8. Compliance with Local Laws
All services comply with applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
Appliance Care reserves the right to refuse or terminate service if laws or regulations are violated.
9. Amendments to Terms
Appliance Care reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will apply to future services.
