Frequently Asked Question?

Why does my Fridge is not cooling?
  1. Check the Condenser Coils: Over time, dust, dirt, and debris can accumulate on the condenser coils, causing the refrigerator to not cool properly. Make sure to clean them regularly to ensure efficient cooling.

  2. Faulty Compressor: The compressor is responsible for circulating refrigerant throughout the system. If it’s not working correctly, your fridge won’t cool. If you suspect an issue with the compressor, it may need professional repair or replacement.

  3. Malfunctioning Fan Motors: The fan motors inside the fridge circulate air to maintain a consistent temperature. If the fan isn’t working properly, cooling performance can drop significantly.

  4. Sealed System Issues: The sealed system, which includes components like the refrigerant lines and compressor, can sometimes develop leaks or blockages. If there’s an issue here, it’s a more complex problem that may require professional attention.

There are multiple possible reasons why a refrigerator might stop cooling. If these suggestions don’t resolve the problem, or if you’re unsure about performing repairs yourself, it’s best to contact us to book an expert assessment. If you’re not sure about diagnosing or fixing the problem yourself, contact us to book an expert assessment. Our team can identify the issue and provide a solution to get your Refrigerator working again.

Yes, we perform fridge repair services throughout Calgary and its surrounding suburbs. For a complete list of areas we serve, please refer to the menu on our website.
Almost all modern fridges are frost free. They use various means of automatic defrost to achieve this and failure of this system is on of the most common problems. Specific parts that commonly cause this are often different depending on the specific brand and model design. These repairs usually range between $185 to $425 depending on the specific component involved.
There are only a few moving components in a refrigerator so only a few potential causes for noise. The most common would be either the condenser or evaporator fan motors. Another cause could be the compressor and, in those instances, repairs are seldom worth doing due to the high costs. Fan motors can vary widely in price depending on brands and models.
We repair Whirlpool, KitchenAid, Maytag, Jenn Air, Amana, Frigidaire, Electrolux, GE and some Kenmore models.
Yes, the condenser coils should be cleaned on an annual basis. They can be vacuumed out, blown out or specialized brushes can be used. This should be done more often if you have pets.

90 Days Parts and Labor Warranty

1. Clean and Maintain Regularly:

  • For refrigerators, dishwashers, and washing machines, clean filters, condenser coils, and vents regularly to ensure optimal performance.

  • Clean air filters in dryers, rangehoods, and microwaves to prevent buildup of dust and dirt, which can strain the appliance.

2. Check Power Sources:

  • Ensure your appliances are connected to a stable power source and check circuit breakers when they stop working. A consistent power supply is essential for longevity.

3. Avoid Overloading:

  • Don’t overload washers, dryers, or dishwashers. Overloading can lead to strain on the motor and other parts, reducing their efficiency and lifespan.

4. Use Proper Settings and Cycles:

  • Use appropriate settings for your appliances. For instance, choose energy-efficient modes and avoid using high heat when unnecessary. This helps prevent excessive wear and tear.

5. Inspect and Repair Small Issues Promptly:

  • Address minor problems like unusual noises, leaks, or malfunctions quickly before they lead to bigger issues. Early repairs can save the appliance from further damage.

6. Protect from External Damage:

  • For appliances like refrigerators and dryers, ensure there’s enough space for proper ventilation. For ovens and rangehoods, regularly clean grease buildup to prevent fire hazards.

7. Follow Manufacturer’s Maintenance Recommendations:

  • Refer to the owner’s manual for specific cleaning and care guidelines for each appliance. Manufacturers provide the best advice for extending the life of their products.

By maintaining your appliances and staying on top of small repairs, you can help them work efficiently and last longer, saving you money on replacements.

We provide prompt service for the installation, repair, and maintenance of all major home appliances. Whether it’s a refrigerator, washing machine, dryer, oven, dishwasher, or any other household appliance, our expert team ensures quick and reliable solutions to keep your appliances running smoothly.
